Bernard Merces

Bernard Merces is a photographer who calls himself an enlightened amateur. However, his eclectic work definitely puts him at the professional level. Perhaps this excess of modesty stems from the fact that he came late to photography.
For what commands his kind of work Bernard considers that providence is often the friend of the photographer. Everything is in the meeting! And with respect for the place, shape or character. All are bearers of a human ambition, be it social, cultural and/or esthetic. At first, black and white had its preference, but Today, the color found its natural place in its palette. The important thing is to make the choice that will essentially benefit the subject, the Form.
Bernard Merces insists that we restore the pleasure of the one who captures the moment but also of the one who looks at the image.
Ethics, gift, pleasure: this is what emerges from the photograph of Bernard Merces.
